Expanded PTFE gasket sheet is a soft, form-in-place gasket material that conforms to almost any sealing surface. This material is often used to make gaskets, which is a common use because it has low bolt load requirements. It can also withstand compressive loads in excess of 40,000 psi without losing any sealing ability.
